Summer Fair 2024

After the wonderful success of last year’s Summer Fair, we have decided to do it all again. We know how much everyone (adults and children) love a good fair and it’s a great time to have fun as a family, Weather permitting, we are hoping to host it outside again on the KS1 and KS2 playground.

To make the event as fun and joyful as possible, we hope to have an assortment of inflatables for all ages (bouncy castle, slide and a galleon), rides for the under 5’s, hot food on sale, various stalls selling gifts, toys, jewellery, cupcakes, sweets, crafts and candles and an opportunity to soak the teachers.

All monies raised from this event will go into the school to help purchase new equipment and books for the children in all year groups.

In the lead up to the Fair, we will be planning several ‘Theme Days’ (Friday 24/5, Friday 7/6, Friday 14/6 and the actual day of the fair itself – Thursday 20th June). All adding to the fun and excitement we want every child to experience. On these theme days, instead of asking for donations of £1 from each child, we will be requesting goods like unopened bottles, cuddly toys, sports equipment and books, which will all be used as prizes at the Fair on Thursday 20th June. Please see the itinerary below.

The cost of the Fair is £3.00 per child, adults are FREE. Payments can either be made on Parent Pay or you can pay on the day. By making payment on Parent Pay will mean that you can avoid the queues, as your child will be issued with a wristband from their class teacher on the day and free entry to the treasure trail at the Fair.

We appreciate the car park will be busy and therefore suggest anyone who lives in close proximity to the school to walk. Anyone who can car share, please do so. There may also be near-by roads surrounding the school where parking is allowed. Wherever you choose to park, PLEASE be mindful and respectful to our neighbours and community.
