Flamingos Before and After School Club

About our provision:

Tidbury Green School has a before and after school club located within the school and is run by our own dedicated school team. 

At Tidbury Green, we believe that Before and After School Provision is an opportunity to enhance a child’s learning and enjoyment. Flamingos provides a nurturing and supportive environment, for all children who attend. Just as with the rest of life at Tidbury Green, we strive for all children to feel safe, secure and happy during their time with us.

At breakfast club we provide breakfast (served for pupils who arrive before 8am). At after school club we provide a light tea for those booked for the full session. We provide both indoor and outdoor play, resources and activities for your child. 

In Flamingos we have a fantastic large rooms which includes:   

• Dress up/role play area
• Book/reading zone
• Calm spaces
• Game zones  

         Our children love joining in with the sports clubs

We ask that any families wishing to use our Flamingos wraparound care read and sign our 'Wraparound Care Contract' -

How to book a place:

Please use the online booking form found at the top of this page to book regular and irregular bookings.

Flamingos wraparound care runs every week in term time at the time specified above. We are closed for all school holidays, teacher training days and bank holidays. Booking is essential and priority is given to full time, existing bookings and siblings of existing pupils. Part time bookings are given next priority and ad hoc bookings may be available for some sessions. We endeavour to offer as many places as possible. We will confirm bookings before the start of the new term. 

Payments are required in advance to retain your place. There are no credit terms available. Families have the option to pay in advance. Payment of feeds is through ParentPay or with childcare vouchers. The new prices and times for September 2024 can be seen below:

Full fees are charged for absences for any unauthorised reason such as a holiday or non-attendance without notice. Please notify the school office of any absences you are aware of in advance and authorised absences such as illness will not be charged. In the rare event of an unscheduled closure of flamingos Wraparound Care, a credit will be applied to your account.

You are expected to collect your child on time. Late fees are applied are £20 per 15 minutes after 6pm and £5 per 15 minutes at any other time. The safety and welfare of pupils is paramount and therefore failure to collect a child will be subject to our safeguarding procedures and may result in escalation to external third parties.

If you cancel places, these places will be offered to those on our waiting list. Please provide at least a month's notice for any cancellations. You should notify our school office by email: office@tidbury-green.solihull.sch.uk. Refunds will be given for bookings if your child is unwell and their absence is authorised.

If your child is new to the school and you will require before or after school care, contact us as soon as their school place is confirmed to arrange your childcare needs in advance, as spaces are limited.
